On Thursday, October 8th 2015, Ray Morgan Company (RMC) along with their strategic partner the Builders’ Exchange of Stockton (BES) celebrated a mile stone of $10,000 in donations over the last year and a half to the BES scholarship fund. These Donations were a collaborative effort between RMC Sales Representative Steve Riller, RMC Ownership, and Canon Representative Mark Stephens.
RMC is a document technology solutions provider that improves efficiencies and reduces costs for their customers in the area of information creation and distribution. With 20 offices located throughout California and Nevada, RMC is able to cover a wide range of clients while still connecting with local communities.
BES is a professional, non-profit association of general Contractors, sub-contractors, construction material dealers, and other related businesses who have joined together to promote ethical and professional business practices in the construction industry.
The Builders’ Exchange of Stockton uses its scholarship fund to support construction related education and events at local high schools and colleges. This program also helps students in a variety of fields such as Business, Law, Medicine, Child Development and Journalism. Applicants are interviewed by the executive board and awarded various amounts based on need and qualifications.
Mike Self the Executive director of the BES stated:
“Steve and I met a couple of years ago when Steve came to talk about my large format document needs. Steve and I hit it off and found that we had a lot of common interests. During our conversation Steve expressed the desire to find a way for RMC to help fund the BES scholarship program. With this in mind Steve and I collaborated on the development of strategic partnerships between the BES and some of our most valued business associates. RMC, under Steve’s guidance became our first strategic partner. We look forward to the future with continued growth of our relationship and strategic partnership with RMC.”
