While savoring, attendees had the opportunity to bid on a wide array of exquisite donations for the silent auction. #### After the tasting reception, the philanthropy continued with a fabulous prime rib ![Chocolate Fest Fountain](https://blog.raymorgan.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/ChocFest_Fntn-228x300-2.jpg?width=228&name=ChocFest_Fntn-228x300-2.jpg)dinner served to enjoy during the entertaining live auction. Most importantly, the evening provided enduring financial support for the youth of the Paradise Ridge. #### Proceeds raised from this annual benefit provide support for youth programs that offer educational, enrichment, recreational and leadership opportunities within the community. Over the last nine years, the [Youth on the Ridge Community Foundation](http://chocolatefest.us/about/yrc-foundation/) has distributed over $200,000 to [45 nonprofit organizations](http://chocolatefest.us/about/yrc-foundation/). In 2018, the Paradise Ridge encountered massive damage and a multitude of devastation from the deadliest wildfire in California history. All of the promotional Chocolate Fest banners and signage from previous years were lost in the Camp Fire.
